SHILLONG, DEC 1: The state police on Tuesday have warned the public not to fall into the trap of a Dehradun-based company NACS Ltd which recently advertised more than 700 vacancies as this company has been found to be ‘fake.’
Issuing an advisory, East Khasi hills SP M Kharkrang said, “The general public is hereby cautioned not to fall prey to such fraud companies.”
Kharkrang informed that NACS Ltd, who claims that it has its corporate office in Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, has advertised around 7000 vacancies in its website ‘http://nacsindia.in’, targeting youths especially from north east India.
“The company claims to be registered under the Public Sector Undertaking Act (PSU) Government of India, but no such Act exist in the Indian laws, nor its corporate office is present in the given address,” Kharkrang said. According to him, to maintain its credibility the company has put up some gazette notifications which are not in existence.
Kharkrang said the company claims to have a number of overseas offices and even has uploaded pictures of the Prime Minister of India in its website.-By Our Reporter
