NHRC visits museum

SHILLONG,NOV 4: Justice D. Murugesan, member of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Delhi visited Don Bosco Museum on Friday in Mawlai.

Penning his visit, Justice Murugesan noted that he had intended to visit the NE states many times in the past but could only make it now. “After visiting the museum today, I felt as if I had visited all the states in the region,” he added.

Three members of the NHRC – Justice HL Dattu (chairman), Justice D Murugesan (member) and Justice SC Sinha (member) are on a visit to Shillong attending a two-day National Human Rights Workshop held at the State Convention Centre,.

The workshop was organised by the NHRC in collaboration with Meghalaya government.-By Our Reporter
