An elate Dr AG Ahangar, NEIGRIHMS director, informed reporters during the news conference at the Shillong Press Club on Monday evening that MCI stamped of recognition to his institute. He said, “I am happy to announce before you that the MCI has granted recognition to the undergraduate (MBBS) course conducted by the institute.”
The undergraduate course commenced at NEIGRIHMS on August 20, 2008.
The first batch of 50 MBBS students graduated in February this year and are currently undergoing internship programme at the institute itself.
