SHILLONG, DEC 1: A twenty-eight year old youth who identity is yet to be confirmed by the police fell in a coalmine and died on Saturday. The incident took place in a coalmine located at Miangmawdar village in the West Khasi hills district of Meghalaya. Police said that the coalmine belongs to one Phurjen Puwein. Though the identity of the deceased is yet to be established, police however said that from the feature he appears to be a Bodo. Police have removed the body from the coalmine and has taken it to the nearby hospital to conduct the postmortem. The police are also investigating into the case.- By Our Reporter
