Election info book released

SHILLONG, AUG 30: Meghalaya chief secretary WMS Pariat released the information book on general election, 2013 along with the video CD on election on Thursday at Pinewood Hotel. Meghalaya chief electoral officer, P Naik, senior officers of the state government, deputy commissioners and sub-divisional officers were also present on the occasion.

The information book 2013 provides information in detail about the population, electorates in the state, number of constituencies and polling stations, votes polled by each candidate, number of returning officers and observers engaged during the election. The information book is available in the office of chief electoral officer for the public on payment.- By Our Reporter
