SHILLONG, SEPT 17: Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Home (Police) Prestone Tynsong on Thursday said the issue of alleged census conducted by Assam in Langpih along the inter-state border has been resolved.
“That is resolved, wherever the census has been completed by the state government, we have spoken to the counterpart Assam, not to disturb and they have done that,” Tynsong said.
He said a similar complaint from Mukroh has also been taken care of.
“Same thing, even in Mukroh has been taken care of. I have instructed the Chief Secretary to take it up immediately wherever the complaint happens, take it up with your counterpart and we are so happy to inform that even from the Assam side they are so cooperative when this kind of misunderstanding happens,” he added
