SHILLONG, SEP 3: BJP Mawlai Mandal led by president Synshar Maiong on Wednesday met MeECL officials at Mawlai Nongkwar and Lumjingshai over frequent power cuts in Lum Mawnei.
In its memorandum, the party said Mawlai lacks dedicated line staff and a service vehicle, causing delay in restoring supply as existing staff also cover municipality areas.
The Director (Distribution) has assured priority action on the matter, the Mandal said.
