Shillong, August 31: ANVC (B) has threatened to trigger new revolution even if means bloodbath in Garo hills promising to unveil its new plan of action within two days.
The militant outfit has alerted people in Garo hills to be ready to face any “situation” as their demands for the resignation of Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) chief executive member and his deputy using democratic means has felt into deaf ears.
The ANVC (B) said in a press statement released Friday that the political leaders “are pushing us to use power.” It said that the ANVC (B) cadres are proud soldiers of their land and assured true revolution.
The ANVC-(B) also expressed its unhappiness towards the attitude of the Garo leaders who are protecting the alleged corrupt politicians like Purno K. Sangma and his team.
Meanwhile rubbishing the allegations, the CEM said that he will not resign under duress from the ANVC (B). Before meeting the chief minister Friday, he said, “ The allegation is not true.” He informed that the judicial enquiry commission is conducting the inquiry from 2008 into the alleged corruption charges in the district council.-By Our Reporter
