SHILLONG, APR 16: YAWS defeated Eleven Star by 4 wickets in the second division Knock Out Cricket Tournament 2015 organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss Eleven Star were all out for 70 runs in 16.5 overs. Suraj Sharma scored 19 runs off 29 balls . While Tarok Sinha took 3/8 runs and Udit took 2/19 runs for YAWS.
In reply, YAWS reached the target in 14.3 overs losing 6 wickets. Amarnath Dharma 19 runs off 33 balls. While Vishal and Arvind took 2 wickets for Eleven Star.
Second Match: Youth Club Shillong defeated Redpine by 3 wickets. Red Pine won the toss and chose to bat. They scored 116 losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. Wondajid scored 50 runs off 52 balls. While Kanchan Chanda and Robin Singh took 2 wickets each for YCS.
In reply, Youth Club Shillong reached the target in 15.3 overs losing 7 wickets. Pintu Das scored 37 runs off 25 balls and Bichitra Jena scored 23 runs off 18 balls. While Wondajid took 3/26 runs and Batkupar took 2/11 runs for Red PIne.- By Our Reporter
