Shillong, Oct 29: At the end of round three of the I-League, Shillong Lajong
has slipped two place from it position to number seven. At the end of the round
II Lajong was placed at fifth position in the points tally.
Lajong kicked off the 2012-13 I-League season in a great style beatingIndia’s oldest club Mohun Bagan 2-0 on Octuber 6, but were held bySalgaocarSC1-1 on Oct. 12. The performance on Sunday with the full squad against Sporting Clube de Goa however has raised many question before the Lajong fans.
Now Lajong will play Prayag United SC before they move off to Goa where they take on defending championsDempoSCin their first ever away match of the season.
Dempo is at the top of the table at the end of round three with nine points against their kitty, followed by Prayag United , Pailan Arrows and East Bengal with seven points each in the second, third and fourth place (Goal differences counts). Churchill Brothers
is at fifth place with six points and Pune FC who was defeated by East Bengal by a
