Wahlang was a role model to all officers: MCSOA

The Association fondly remembers the invaluable service rendered by (L) Donny Wahlang. His jovial and amicable nature has touched everyone’s heart, especially those who were closely associated with him.

The MCSOA also acknowledge the fact the (L) Wahlang while in service at various capacities of the official assignments as EAC, BDO, ADC, Project Director, DRDA and finally Joint Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya had given his best in his most unique cheerful, well mannered and respectful attitude to the public as well towards his colleagues.

“He was a much loved younger brother to his seniors and a mentor to the juniors of the Association. He was a role model to all Officers. He was a responsible Officer and an invaluable asset both to the Association and the State,” MCSOA president A Ch Marak said in a statement issued here.

“His innovative and creative approach in administration and Management of developmental programmes in the State is note-worthy and his demise has left a vacuum and an irreplaceable loss to the Government as well as the society,” he said.

The Association also extended its heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Elaridor Sohliya, Gavriella and Armangdame, parents, siblings and other members of the bereaved family at this sorrowful time.

The Association also prays that the Almighty God grant him everlasting peace in his heavenly abode and pray that the Almighty God bestow upon the family members comfort and the strength to overcome this difficult hour of grief and agony.
