SHILLONG, AUG 16: Rangdajied United Football Club went down by a goal to Royal Wahingdoh Football Club during the Independence Day celebration exhibition match held at JN sports complex on Thursday.
Though Rangdajeid was tipped to outclass Royal Wahingdoh, but the latter showed grit and determination to keep its opponent- who will be playing the coming season of I-League- to a goalless draw.
It was in the fifty fifth minutes that Lalmasngaihsanga helped Royal Wahingdoh pipped Rangdajied United FC by a solitary goal. Lalmasngaihsanga converted the Malsana cross ball home.
Santosh Kyshap trained Rangdajied went all out and did raid the opponent goal mouth, but rival substitute custodian Bishorjeet stood too tall before the Rangdajied players.
Later ADM D Wahlang handed over the prizes to the winner and the runners up. –By Our Reporter
