SHILLONG, FEB 3: Two Achik National Liberation Central Army (ANLCA) militants identified as Charles D Shira (25) of Dalbot A, Shallang and Salman S Sangma of Rongjeng Nongring East Garo hill district were arrested by the Nongstoin police.
They were arrested from Mawiawban village under Nongstoin police station while they were travelling to Shillong in a maruti car 800 ML 05C 2708 on Sunday at around 8 pm.
The police also seized one 32 Pistol along with one live ammunition, two mobile phones with SIM cards, Rs. 34,840/- and one tablet from them. Police said that the duo were involved in the recent kidnapping of headman of Songsak Bonegre in East Garo hills district.- By Our Reporter
