Training on GSP held

SHILLONG, AUG 13:Meghalaya Police in collaboration with North East Network (NEN) recently organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) on Gender Sensitive Policing (GSP) at Police Training School, Mawroh. The participants were police officers of rank Deputy Superintendent of Police, Inspector and Sub Inspector level of Meghalaya Police. An expert team of the Gender Sensitization and People friendly Police Project (GSPP) were the trainers of the three days training who trained the police on Gender, Violence against Women and Laws safeguarding women and Children. The training aimed at identifying core trainers who would carry out the training’s on gender sensitive policing in their respective districts and units.
