SHILLONG, JUNE 14: Three persons were arrested for assaulting labourers recently at Mawlai-Mawkynroh. The arrested have been identified as Franklin Kharkongor (20) Horsius Mukhim (25) and Thalainsing Khongsit (32) all from Mawlai Mawkynroh. According to police, the accused have been remanded to 14 days judicial custody.
The arrest was made after an FIR was filed by one Bhalang Singh Phanbuh who informed that three miscreants forcefully entered into his compound and the construction sheds at Mawkynroh Block-3 Mawlai on June 13 and assaulted his labourers working there with iron rods, bricks. As a result they sustain injuries.
Two of them were admitted in Civil Hospital.-By Our Reporter
