Students’ scholarship

SHILLONG, APR 27: Applications are invited from students who are permanent residents of Meghalaya studying within and outside the state for the year 2015-16 for granting of merit-cum-mean based scholarship, Post Matric Scholarship, Pre Matric Scholarship for Minority Communities and Pre Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste Students.

For Merit-cum-Mean based Scholarship, submission of online application for fresh scholarship is June 1 to September 30 and for renewal scholarship is 1^st June to 15^th November. For post matric scholarship, submission of online application for fresh scholarship is 1^st June to 15^th September and for renewal scholarship is 1^st June to 10^th October.

Applications for both scholarships are to be submitted online to www.momascholarship.gov.in. Print out of duly filled-in application forms are to be submitted to the office of the Director of Higher & Technical Education, Meghalaya along with all supporting documents through their respective institutions.

The last date of submission of application forms for pre-matric scholarship for minority communities and pre-matric scholarship for Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste is 31^st July.

Detailed information can be obtained from the respective institutions, offices of the District School Education Officer, Sub-Divisional School Education Officers or from the office of the Director of Higher & Technical Education, Additional Secretariat Building, Shillong, Room No. 206(A) from 1^st May.- By Our Reporter
