SHILLONG, MAY 20: Irate students of the CMJ University of Jorabat campus went on a rampage and destroyed an under construction building and also the university bus that was parked in the compound on Monday. The Jorabat CMJ University campus falls under the Byrnihat police station. Obviously the students were agitated over their future as the government has clamped down on the institute and derecognize the degrees awarded by it. The CID is now on hot pursuit of the university chancellor CM Jha who has gone into hiding. The CID has already arrested some of the officials of this university which is not embroiled in a controversy.- By Our Reporter
