SHILLONG, AUG 10: Meghalaya kick-boxers won two gold medals in the just concluded Senior National Kickboxing Championship held at Swarna Bharti Indoor Stadium, Visakhapatnam and Andhra Pradesh from August 3 to 7.
A total of 6 players of the Meghalaya Association of Kickboxing Organization (MAKO) led by its president Donny R Ranee participated in the championship.
Apart from gold medal, the team also bagged silver and bronze medals in the different categories.
While Pynnehbor Mylliemngap won gold medal in Senior Musical Form Hard Style and Khrawbok Marwein won gold medal in the -51 kg wt.cat. Low-Kick (Ring Sport), Elbring Umbah won silver medal in the 60 kg.wt.cat. Full Contact (Ring Sport), Albanrilang Mylliemumlong won silver medal in the -51 kg.wt.ct. K-I (Ring Sport), Lamphrang Kharsahnoh won bronze medal in the -51 kg wt.cat. Full Contact (Ring Sport) and Ferdinnd Suchiang won bronze medal in the -57 kg wt.cat. Light Contact (Tatami)
