Shortage of LPG in TURA

TURA, SEPT 1: West Garo hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) informed that due to technical snags there could be shortage and scarcity of LPG supply for a week or so. The statement said that there were technical problems at the LPG bottling plants, BRPL, Bongaigaon, Assam making it impossible on the part of LPG distributors to supply the commodity.

The Deputy Commissioner (supply) has urged all consumers to extend their cooperation during the shortage and asked the people to notify his office if any problem arises. Efforts are being made to bring back the normal supply of LPG as early as possible the statement added.-From Our Correspondent
