Shillong, Sept 18: Sitting NPP legislator Masonsing M Sangma died Tuesday of cardiac arrest. He was sixty-two years. He represented Chokpot constituency.
Meghalaya chief minister Mukul Sangma has expressed his condolence over the sudden demise of the NPP legislator.
The NPP expressed its profound shock and grief at the sudden and untimely demise ofone of their senior party legislator. The members recalled the service and commitment of Masonsing M. Sangma to the party, to his people in the constituency and to the people of Meghalaya.
NPP release said, “ He was an indispensable member of the party and has held several key posts including the Vice President of the Party. The party offers its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of (L) Masonsing M. Sangma and pray for the Almighty’s guidance and comfort in their hour of grief.”- By Our Reporter
