Quake jolts Shillong, NE

SHILLONG, AUG 24: Panic gripped city’s residents on Wednesday evening when an earthquake of 6.8 magnitude jolted Shillong and other parts of north eastern region with its epicenter in Myanmar. A day earlier  on Tuesday at 7.45 am 5.1 intensity earthquake had jolted north east including Shillong with its epicenter in Myanmar. –By Our Reporter
