Shillong, Nov 6: The Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) decided to hold a “public meeting” on November 12, to discuss on the report of the CBI over the lopsided recruitment of assistant lower primary teachers in the state.
The decision was taken at the high level committee meeting held Tuesday.
“We have decided to organize a public meeting on the issue which has affected the legitimate rights of deserving candidates to the posts,” FKJGP president Joe Marwein said.
The meeting will be held at Motphran at 12 pm. –By Our Reporter
