SHILLONG, AUG 24: More than 630 candidates from different villages of Ri Bhoi took part in the one day pre recruitment and counseling programme under Chief Minister Career Guidance Scheme organized by the Ri Bhoi deputy commissioner office in collaboration with the office of the Ri Bhoi SP at Science Hall, Nongpoh on August 23.
The programme was inaugurated by the deputy commissioner CP Gotmare in the presence of GD Kharwanlang, SP, DP Kharsati, ADC and PK Sangma, EAC among others.
The objective of this pre recruitment counseling programme was to create awareness on the recruitment procedure among the candidates from rural areas who will appear for the recruitment to be conducted by the Meghalaya police on various ranks on September 1st this programme gears up the youths with the necessary preparation both physically and mentally.
The resource person on the day includes N Momin, DSP NRabha, DSP PS Marwein, Inspector and H Kharnaior, CI Nongpoh who lectured on various topics like phases of exam, running pattern, OMR sheet and marking, tips regarding running how to increase the endurance and style and also lectures on various subjects like mathematics, general English, general knowledge, studying technique, interview .-By Our Reporter
