SHILLONG, JAN 21: Police are on the job to identify the culprits involved in the assault and injuring three persons at Lumdiengjri area.
“We are investigating the incident to identify and nab the culprits behind the assault,” East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Sylvester Nongtnger said on Friday.
He however said two of the three injured persons have been discharged from the hospital.
The incident had taken place on Thursday evening when a group of miscreants assaulted and injured the three persons.
One 55 year old Chandan Paul, a resident of lower Mawprem was allegedly stabbed in the incident. He is being admitted at the Shillong civil hospital.
