SHILLONG,SEPT 21: As part of the Chief Ministers Career Guidance and Counseling Scheme, the office of the Superintendent Of Police South-West Khasi hills in collaboration with district administration organised the first ever career guidance camp for candidates of the district who applied for various posts in the upcoming police recruitment exam.
These camps were organised in Ranikor and Mawkyrwat areas. Apart from getting coaching from a physical instructor from the sports office on how to prepare oneself for the physical tests the candidates also got guidance on how to prepare for the written tests and interview tests from young police officers of the district who themselves had passed these exams to get into police service. In Ranikor over 300 young aspirants attended the coaching camp while in Mawkyrwat there were over 500 candidates in attendance.-By Our Reporter
