Shillong, Sept 7: The police detained seven Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) members for detaining, checking, and assaulting passengers travelling to Jowai. The incident took place in the afternoon Friday when KSU members forcefully stopped and detained about three hundred passengers at Mawryngkneng while they were travelling in different vehicles. The seven KSU Mawryngkneng unit members are currently in Shillong. In another incident, one Md Baki Bila, age 15 years of Sylhet Bangladesh was apprehended by the Cantonment Beat House at Mawlonghat.- By Our Reporter
