Police bust gun factory

SHILLONG, APR 25: The police’s Special Operation Team (SOT) and Mawsynram police busted an illegal gun factory located at Dewsaw, a two hours walk down the hill Tynger on Thursday afternoon. After intelligence inputs the SOT and the police from the area raided the factory. A 62-year old man identified as Kasmili Khongjri was arrested. The factory was destroyed. The police also recovered and seized two SBBL barrels guns, one SBBL barrel with butt and implements for gun making. – By Our Reporter
