Office bearers elected

SHILLONG, JAN 3: A day after the resignation of Congress legislator AL Hek from the party and joined the BJP, the Pynthorumkhrah Block Congress Committee (PBCC) has elected its new office bearers at an emergent meeting held in the city here.

The meeting was attended by more than 100 members along with Komal Marbaniang, General Secretary, Shillong City Congress Committee as an observer.

Wansalan Lyngwa was elected as new president of the PBCC, B Roy and M Marbaniang as vice presidents, T Lyngkhoi as general secretary, B Tati and L Rumnong as asst general secretaries, S Nag as treasurers besides 30 executive members.
