OBC:Govt asked to respond

SHILLONG, OCT 4: Meghalaya high court has directed the state government to file a counter affidavit within four weeks to the petition petition filed by Pawan Sharma against the East Khasi hills deputy commissioner for stopping issuing of OBC forms and certificates to those who deserves it. A writ petition was filed by Sharma as many people belonging to the OBC category could not get the certificates because the East Khasi hills deputy commissioner’s office had stopped issuing OBC forms to apply for the certificate for many years now.-By Our Reporter
