SHILLONG, MAR 9: Deputy Chief Minister in-charge PWD (Roads) Prestone Tynsong on Thursday said construction of Khasimara Bridge in Ryngku has been proposed under NABARD Infrastructure Development Assistance (NIDA).
“Sanction is awaited,” Tynsong said while replying to a query raised by AITC MLA from Mawsynram Himalaya Shangpliang.
He informed that Rs 24 crore has been estimated for the construction of the 120 meters bridge.
When Shangpliang wanted to know as to when the project will be sanctioned, Tynsong said that the department is intouch with NABARD and hopefully by the end of this month, sanction will be accorded by the institution.
