Kenny’s demise condoled

SHILLONG, OCT 12: In separate condolence messages  FKJGP, KSU and KHNAM expressed shock over  the sudden demise of Kenny Warjri, a video-journalist of Peitngor Cable News (PCN), who died in an accident yesterday.

“His (Warjri) passing away is a great lost not only to the media fraternity of Meghalaya but to the indigenous community as a whole,” FKJGP East Khasi hills said in a statement on Monday.

The FKJGP also extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and hope that God Almighty will give them the strength to cope up with this irreparable lost and grant the departed soul eternal rest.

The FKJGP also said they hope and pray for the speedy recovery of Walton Lytan, a photojournalist of UB Photos, who was also critically injured in the accident and is presently undergoing treatment in the GNRC Hospital, Guwahati.

The KSU Jaintia Hills unit expressed grief at the demise of Warjri, who was also a former Assistant Publicity Secretary of the KSU Mawkhar Unit. “We wish that his soul rest in peace and also pray that God be with the bereaved family,” KSU-JH president Ohibait Dkhar said.

Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) State Youth Wing acknowledges the contributions made by Warjri through his dedication as a video-journalist. It also extended its deepest condolences to the bereaved family.- By Our Reporter
