SHILLONG, DEC 16: Leader of Opposition and former chief minister Dr Mukul Sangma on Friday offered a touch of healing to the people of Songsak during a free medical camp at Songsak Agitdokgre UP school playground.
Like an experienced physician always at people’s service, Dr Sangma checked patients throughout the day and offered clinical guidance to the local residents. Checking their eyes and general health issues, Dr. Sangma advised them to maintain a proper nutritional diet.
The villagers were touched by this genuine gesture of care and took his advice. Dr Sangma also distributed medicines to the villagers.
