Mock earthquake exercise

SHILLONG, OCT 15: Mock exercise on earthquake will be held on October 19  from 9 am to 12 noon at Jail Road and Police Bazaar  areas. East Khasi hills deputy commissioner Sanjay Goyal  has appeal to people not to panic during the mock. The exercise is part of the preparatory steps for the Megha Mock Exercise to be organised in February  2014 by the State  and District Management Authority  in collaboration with National Disaster Management Authority. The mock would be conducted at residential areas of Jail Road, government office building of MTC, MUDA Shopping Mall,Civil Hospital and Jail Road Petrol pump.- By Our Reporter
