MLA extends financial assistance

SHILLONG, APR 7: South Shillong legislator Sanbor Shullai has extended financial assistance of Rs 1.70 lakh to five voluntary institutions for organizing various social and welfare programmes for students, youths and general public for the year 2022.

These include Garo Baptist Church Fire Brigade Prayer Cell (Lumsurvey) Bara Bazar, Shillong- Rs. 50,000, Meghalaya Rongali Bihu Sanmilan Asom Kristi Kendra, Stoney Land, Shillong Rs 50,000, Cantonment Harijan Community Welfare Organization Anjalee Area, Cantonment Shillong Rs 50,000, Khasi Student’s Union NEHU Unit Shillong Rs. 10,000 and Meghalaya State Kickboxing Association Shillong Rs 10,000.
