SHILLONG, MAR 27: Two government files related to the alleged irregularities in the implementation of a programme, have been found “missing” from the Meghalaya secretariat. Police registered a case at the Sadar police station relating to the “missing” files after the Meghalaya deputy secretary (forest & environment department), A. Nikhla lodged a complaint that in between 2006 and March 19, 2014, two files relating to the alleged irregularities in the implementation of the Border Area Development Programme were found “missing” from the forest & environment department, secretariat building, Shillong.- By Our Reporter
