Miscreants torch govt vehicle in Shillong

A government vehicle was torched by miscreants in Shillong on Thursday evening.

The Bolero (ML 01 A 0175) of the Water Resources department was set ablaze while it was parked in the office premises, police said.

The vehicle was totally damaged. It was suspected that miscreants had lobbed a petrol bomb from outside, they said.

A case has been registered and investigation is on to nab the culprits involved in the act.
