SHILLONG, NOV 20: The Government of Meghalaya has revised the Minimum Wages payable to the employees with effect from 1 st October, 2020. The Minimum wage + Revised VDA for highly skilled labourers is Rs. 420/- + 60 = Rs. 480/-, skilled labourers is Rs. 380/- + 55 = Rs. 435/-, semi skilled is Rs. 340/- + 49 = Rs. 389/- and unskilled is Rs. 300/- + 43=Rs. 343/-. This was informed by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Labour Department.
