Mentally challenged

SHILLONG, MAY 13: Following the Meghalaya high court order that no mentally challenged person is seen abandoned by his family or roaming about uncared in public places or in other places inviting danger and causing inconvenience to public, East Khasi hills deputy commissioner has informed that if any such person is seen in the street/public places/any other place, the public are requested to inform the respective Thana or police station or the office of the Deputy Commissioner.

Public have been requested to give information to the Police Control Room at Telephone No. 2222277, Extn: 427 (PCR) at 2222001, PCR Direct at 100 and the Office of the Deputy Commissioner at 2224003.- By Our Reporter
