CSR award to Mawlyngbna

SHILLONG, SEPT 10: The IDFC foundation has awarded a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project for Solar Street Lighting, Solar Pump and Micro Hydel Plant to Mawlyngbna village. The Community and Rural Development department is facilitating the project through the State Institute of Rural Development. As a step towards initiating the commencement of the Project a Memorandum of Agreement will be signed between the IDFC Foundation and the Community of Mawlyngbna represented by the Mawlyngbna Multipurpose Society.

The signing of the agreement will take place on September 11 at 2 pm at Meghalaya Institute of Governance Office, Bishop Cotton Road (behind Chief Secretary’s bungalow).– By Our Reporter
