SHILLONG, NOV 30: The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association (MUPSTA) West Jaintia Hills District Unit has extended its full support to the mass teachers meet organized by the association at Asanang, Tura in West Garo Hills on December 3.
The meet is to press the government to implement what it had promised for the last two years to fully upgrade all the 844 Adhoc Upper Primary schools to deficit system in the whole state of Meghalaya, president of the association N Shullai said on Tuesday.
