Male Sikh body found

SHILLONG, JULY 20: East Khasi hills SP has informed that on July 18 an unknown male dead body, seems to be a Punjabi Sikh, aged between 35 and 40 years approximately and 5’9” in height and suspected to be driver by profession was found dumped at Mawkhanu on Shillong Bypass with his both hands tied to the back and multiple injury wound on the occipital region.

The deceased was also strangulated as one rope like cloth was found tied on his neck. In this connection, a case has been registered against the unknown accused and investigation taken up.
