SHILLONG, OCT 10: The Khasi Student Union (KSU) Mawshynrut Circle felicitated five meritorious students of Mawshynrut Block with Maitshaphrang Award on Friday who had secure more than 75% in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) 2014.
The felicitation programmed was held at Porshiah Zero point, Riangdo in which Armstrong Sophahang, President KSU, Mawshynrut Circle presided over the programme.
The five meritorious student who received the felicitation award include Wilfred Diengngan, Shalak Synshiang, Ronald Wanbor Lyngkhoi, Lawanbiangsaphi Iawphniaw and Khrawbor Syiem.
Mawshynrut constituency MDC Morningstar Mawsor was the chief guest at the programmed while A.L Nonglait, Village Secretary of Riangdo was the guest of honour in the presence of the KSU leaders from West Khasi Hills district including its general secretary Wellessly Lyngkhoi, Johnmilton Wahlang, organizing secretary, Rishot Kharbani, finance secretary, leaders and members of KSU Mawshynrut along with the parents of the students.- By Our Reporter
