Lakroh project inaugurated

SHILLONG, MAR 5: Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui on Tuesday inaugurated the Lakroh Mini Hydel Project at Lakroh, West Jaintia Hills District.

The project is located on the Lakroh River near Muktapur village in Amlarem Sub-Division. The Mini Hydel Project will improve the power supply to the 14 nearby villages where there is frequent disruption of electricity supply due to long transmission lines.
