SHILLONG, DEC 14: Shillong Lajong FC defeated Rangdajied United FC with 5 – 0 goals in the Under-18 I-League north east zone qualifiers held today at the JN stadium.
In today’s final U-18 I-League encounter for Lajong, Damiki Khongstia (17′), Sheen Stevenson Sohktung (40′, 50′), and Joe (41′ and 81′) found the net for the reds and gave their team a 5-0 win against the blues.
Royal Wahingdoh have advanced to the final round of the U-18 I-League. Meanwhile, Shillong Lajong FC who in the second place with 15 points after today’s win, will have to wait for the result from the last match between SAI Guwahati and Guwahati FC.
SAI need a straight win in order to qualify for the final round from the North East Zone as they are in the third place with 13 points from 7 games.-By Our Reporter
