SHILLONG, FEB. 27: The under-20 squad of Shillong Lajong Football Club will leave for Jamshedpur on Friday to take part in the under-20 football tournament for I-League teams that kicks off in the Steel City on March 5.
In a release issued here on Wednesday, Lajong said 15 teams will be vying for top honour in this year’s edition of the tournament, which was won last year by Pune FC. “The teams have been divided into three groups of five each with the three top teams from each group heading into the final round which begins on March 16,” said the release.
