LAEF militants surrender

SHILLONG, AUG 19: Two Liberation of Achik Elite Force (LAEF) militants surrendered before the state police in North Garo hills district on Wednesday. LAEF militants have been identified as corporal Sodum T Sangma @Jop @Bigshow; and Saintchecker Sangma. Both surrendered before the North Garo hills SP, police said.

While Sodum deposited one AK 47 rifle with two magazines and 31 rounds of live ammunition, Saintchecker surrendered with one 9mm pistol, with one magazine and 6 rounds of live ammunition, police said.- By Our Reporter
