SHILLONG, JUNE 21: The Meghalaya high court has granted the police two weeks’ time to submit the progress report into the FIRs relating to the infamous 2009-education job scam of assistant teachers in government lower-primary schools in 2009 unearthed by the CBI.
The order came after the East Khasi hills district SP M Kharkrang, who appeared before the court, submitted that the Investigation Officer (IO) could not come and file the progress report because of the sudden demise of his father-in-law.
