SHILLONG, JUNE 4: The controversial CMJ University chancellor Chandra Mohan Jha was granted bail by the court on Wednesday, hours after the state CID team seized fresh evidences from the raid conducted at his residence in Shillong in the afternoon.
Police sources confirmed the bail granted by the court on Wednesday evening, even as they termed the reprieve by the court as a setback to the investigation process that has taken nearly one year.
