The CM and the Law Department should first clarify how can State Govt amend the Meghalaya Benami Transaction Provision Act 1980, when they do not have an official document of the original Act.. We had sought for this in the earlier Influx meet but everyone seems not to be interested to seek for the original Act..and they did not invite us anymore after that.. very strange indeed.. Based on which official Act are they amending??
