Hek nominated as CSMC chairman

SHILLONG, MAR 22: BJP leader and former minister AL Hek has been appointed as the chairman of the Central Scheme Monitoring Cell (CSMC).

Informing this on Tuesday, BJP state president Ernest Mawrie said, “He (Hek) will take the initiative to ensure proper implementation of the central schemes by the different departments’ right from the state to the district council level.”

He said the central government had allotted a lot of schemes through the 15^th Finance Commission to all the three ADCs – KHADC, JHADC and GHADC, in the state adding “Now, it is the duty of the chairman to monitor the implementation of the central schemes.”
